So, yeah, it was wonderful to finally discover that I was shooting The Book of Boba Fett. 'When the crew and the cast found out, they were dying.
'So for two weeks, while I was working with Tem and Robert, I had no idea that I was actually shooting the spin-off. So I just assumed I was signing on – because it doesn't say The Mandalorian on my contracts.
'And then when the scripts came out, it said 301, 302, 303, 304. 'When I was told I was going to become a series regular, I just automatically assumed it was for The Mandalorian season three,' Ming-Na Wen told Digital Spy. However, the end of their story did feel extremely final, which led us to believe that the post-credits scene might have been included to set up a whole new story revolving around Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) and Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) in what will be known as The Book of Boba Fett.
And of course, we assumed that he would be joined Baby Yoda (not gonna call him Grogu, can't make us), another star of considerable repute. Before the season two finale aired, we assumed that Pedro Pascal would play the lead role once again (presumably with help from stunt double Brendan Wayne, grandson of the legendary actor John Wayne).
